Wow, thanks! So many good tips in a short video! I have been having a hard time figuring out how to use a crimp (like 10x6mm) to make a loop end on leather cord intended for a phone lanyard... so strength is important... using a crimp END on cord looks straightforward, but this is not an end but a "cap"... I got the only tool suggested, which is for crimp ends, but I am basically just using it as normal pliers as it is really for smaller crimp ends. Never before have I found NOTHING on using a finding. At least your tip about using craft wire to bind before crimping is helpful in this case! Luckily the crimps come in 100's, as I've had to experiment a lot 😀 Although I still have to figure out this on my own, thanks for the concise, helpful video that will serve me in other ways!

Hi Tracy Yes it was a swarovski flat back that had multiple stones. I was surprised it came off with GS glue. So now I use Two part epoxy. I sell at craft shows.
